The Space theatre - mention for Bric à Brac, and remembering where we started"

Dress run of 'Ash' back in Feb 2016 at The Space UK

We were incredibly humbled to be a part of The Space's Review of the Year recently, getting this mention in their 'Records' section:

"The highest average audience of the year (minimum of 5 performances) was Bric a Brac‘s biopic of smoker George Crozier, Ash. The show went on to perform at the Paris and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, we liked it so much, we booked it in to perform at the Roof Garden and it can be seen again at the Vaults Festival in 2017." Read more about their incredible year of theatre here.

After it's initial showing in March 2015 at Southwark Playhouse under the title 'Thank You For Smoking", a name that had to be changed after confusion with the film of the same title, we first performed Ash at The Space back in February 2016. The team were so welcoming and we felt very lucky to have our debut show in such a special venue. When we were invited to show the final version after our Edinburgh run in their beautiful rooftop location we were more than happy! It was a warm evening with all of the audience fanning themselves throughout, but to end our journey with a sell-out show back with the great Space team seemed fitting.

We would encourage all theatre makers to have a look at The Space and their great opportunities - we personally look forward to working with them again!
